This class sure has been a favorite one! Barb has taught it to over 490 gals since we opened the shop. Once you take this class, you will never look at fabric the same way again. Do you want to learn how to paper piece? If so, this is the class for you, as you will leave from these 3 classes very confident in the technique. You will be creating perfectly pieced 3” quilt blocks. You will be able to secure them inside a Frame Card for gift giving or artistic display, or mix and match for small wall quilts or other small projects.

If you would like to “Sew Along” with your friends, or friends to be, pick and choose your Sew Along date/s. Come and sew, talk, laugh, order out lunch if you choose – just have a day away from home. It’s a new format which consists of an 80 page book for $29.95 which includes 4 seasonal medium sized wallhangings, 4 bonus projects, 1 stitchery sampler and 24 delicious dessert and beverage recipes each month. There will be a new five piece fabric collection each quarter that will make each seasonal wallhanging, and they are a beauty too! I have swatches of all the fabrics for the year if you would like to take a peak! Thimbleberries 2012 is unique in that the kits can be sold to anyone. In lieu of “goody bags” given out by the shops, each shop will match the donations collected at their shop. Raffle prizes from each shop will be a minimum of $100 of non-quilting related items, (ex: electronics, restaurant gift cards, etc.) plus a $25.00 gas card. Come join the paper-piecing block of the month group. This year we will be using Carol Doak’s book “50 Fabulous Paper-Pieced Stars”. We will be paper-piecing two 12” star blocks each month so by this time next year you will have a beautiful star quilt. This class is great for the paper-piecer at all skill levels-the stars look intricate but paper piecing makes it possible to sew these designs with absolute precision.
