Welcome to Mt. Pleasant Quilting Company!
We are your one stop destination quilting shop with over 3,500 bolts of 100% cotton quilting fabrics including flannels and batiks, from most of the major fabric companies. We have an extensive “book & pattern nook” with over 400 titles of books and patterns for you to peruse. If you’re looking for kits, you have come to the right place! We also stock several notions that every quilter needs as well as notions that simply make the hobby of quilting easy and fun. If you don’t find what you’re looking for, we can order it for you. We provide superior longarm quilting machine services: custom, heirloom, and edge to edge quilting, plus basting and binding services. We also make custom quilts for those who wish to order a quilt completely finished.

Dear Quilters,
Happy New Year to you! May it be a happy and healthy year for you and your loved ones!
I have a lot to tell you about so let’s get started!
• You were VERY generous with your donations this past year for charity. In Nov. and Dec. you contributed 308 pounds of food, 286 diapers, and 75 children’s books. All 3 categories were record breaking over the previous year. Thank you so much!!
• Long Arm Quilting Special: We are continuing the 2011 special because you liked it so much. Upon the completion of having 4 quilts longarmed, panto and/or custom, receive a FREE $20.00 class of your choice. Our turnaround time for pantos is a MAXIMUM of 4- 6 weeks. Our turnaround time is so fantastic because of my 5 gals who work in the longarm department. (I only let them come up out of the basement once a day to go to the bathroom and eat lunch.) Ha-Ha!
• Quilt Away Weekend, Feb. 10th-12th Balance due Jan.7th. Full, but can still call the shop to be put on a waiting list as there always seem to be cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances. We have “newbies” every year.
• Quilt Away Weekend, Mar., 2nd - 4th Balance due Feb. 1st. Full, but can still call the shop as stated above to be put on the waiting list.
• Hop For a Cause: Mar. 7th - 10th .I’m really excited about this Shop Hop! It’s like no other one you’ve ever been on! Read about it under Special Events.
• Kits and more kits: We’ve always had a lot of kits, but one of my goals for 2012 is to have many, many more kits available for you. We are going to put as many of our kits on our website as possible. If you are not a computer person, you’ll just have to stop in to see them. An example of a set of 4 kits: Each season you will be able to rotate in the same spot a 14” x 56” wall hanging depicting the season: Spring Hopes, Summer Dreams, Autumn Blessings and Winter Wishes. Another kit example: A pattern that uses 12 fats in the main body of the quilt while the size can be flexible with the borders. After you have read the Classes section, you will see that anyone can order the Thimbleberries 2012 kits this year,(a new format), and of course, the McKenna Ryan lovers can order the Bella Garden kits from us as well.
